توسط : مراسم سالانه The Game Awards که هر سال برای جشن گرفتن بازی‌های ویدیویی برگزار می‌شه، امسال توی تاریخ ۱۲ دسامبر (۲۱ آذر ۱۴۰۳) برگزار شد. مهم‌ترین بخش این شب، طبیعتاً اعلام برنده‌های جوایزه، اما جدا از این، کلی خبر هیجان‌انگیز هم داشتیم، مثل معرفی یه IP جدید از استودیوی Naughty Dog که سازنده The Last of Us هم هست.
Astro Bot، ساخته سونی جایزه بهترین بازی سال (Game of the Year) رو برد. بازی‌های دیگه‌ای که توی این دسته‌بندی نامزد شده بودن عبارت‌اند از Balatro، Black Myth: Wukong، Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree، Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth و Metaphor: ReFantazio.
بازی‌های Astro Bot و Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth هر کدوم با ۷ نامزدی، بیشترین تعداد نامزدی‌ها رو به خودشون اختصاص دادن. از نظر تعداد نامزدی ناشران، سونی با ۱۶ نامزدی رتبه اول رو داشت. بعدش Square Enix و ایکس باکس هر کدوم با ۱۲ نامزدی و سگا با ۱۱ نامزدی اومدن.
